Refund and Returns Policy
This Cancellation, Return & Exchange, and Refund Policy (hereinafter referred to as the “this Policy”) is an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000, and rules/regulations made thereunder as applicable and for the time being in force concerning to electronic records. This Policy is generated by a computer system and does not require any physical or digital signature. This Policy is published following the requirements of Rule 3 of the Information Technology (Intermediaries Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 read with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 which requires publishing the rules and/or regulations for access or usage of www.modernstorehub.com website.
Simpex Textiles Trading Private Limited, having its registered office located at Ground Floor, Office No. 2, Gandhi Park, 47-D Block, Sri Ganga Nagar, Sri Ganganagar, Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan, 335001, a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013 (hereinafter referred to as “Simpex Textiles Trading Private Limited”, “Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the e-commerce website www.modernstorehub.com or any successor site or its related domains, sub-domains, sites, services, and tools, etc., by whatever name called (hereinafter referred to as the “Website”). www.modernstorehub.com is provided by the Company as a service to the general public (hereinafter referred to as the “User” or “You”) and is intended to allow users to browse and order online the products (i.e., goods or services) offered for sale on the Website (hereinafter referred to as the “Services”).
T&C and This Policy
This Policy should be read in conjunction with the Terms & Conditions.
This Policy explains the rights and choices available to the User/Customer concerning the order cancelation, product return, exchange of the products, and refund. We recommend that you read this entire Policy carefully. By continuing to access the Website, you agree that you have read, understood, and accepted the terms and conditions of this Policy.
Order Cancellation
The User can cancel his order within 24 hours. Please follow the following steps to cancel your order – The user can cancel his/her orders which starts after 1 hour from the time of placing the order and lasts for 24 hours only.
- Log in to your account and go to the “My Account” section;
- Select the order that you want to cancel from the “My Orders” section
- Click on “Cancel Order” for the item/s you want to cancel
- Provide the reason for the cancellation
- Confirm the cancellation
- You will receive an acknowledgment of the cancellation.
Please Note: You will not be able to cancel an order after 24 hours.
We may levy a cancellation fee on your cancellation. The cancellation fee may be charged to compensate for the time and effort incurred in processing your order. The cancellation fee charged by us will be equivalent to or less than the charges borne by us. The cancellation fee will be deducted from the amount paid by you while ordering from us.
We reserve the right to modify/waive the cancellation fee from time to time. The User shall be solely responsible for compliance with all applicable laws for making payments to us on account of any cancellation of an order from your end.
The refund amount will be credited back to the source account within 4 to 5 working days. However, in the case of certain public sector banks, this may take up to 10 to 15 working days.
Return & Exchange
The User may return and exchange the purchased products due to any manufacturing defects.
Please follow the following steps to cancel your order –
- Call customer care and inform them about the defective product along with order details.
- Customer care to send a service team to inspect the defect.
- Based on the defect, the defective part or the product could be replaced.
Please note: We cannot accept your return of product/s (i.e., return & exchange) due to – (i) hygiene reasons; (ii) products already used after detecting any defect; (iii) if the products have been tampered with or damaged; (iv) the products where some components/parts of the products are missing and not made available by the user or an incomplete product.
PLEASE NOTE WE CAN NOT RETURN & EXCHANGE any modular items/products, i.e., “Modular Wardrobes and Modular Kitchens as the products are customized according to your instruction and need.
Refund
Subject to the terms and conditions of this Policy any refund amount will be credited back to the source account within 3 to 4 working days. However, in the case of certain public sector banks, this may take up to 10 to 15 working days.
Updates to this Policy
We reserve the right to update this Policy to reflect changes in our practices and services. When we post changes to this Policy, we will update the date of this Policy. Continued use of the Services after such date constitutes acceptance of such updates. When required by applicable law, we may inform the User by additional means, such as through a notification on the website or in our mobile applications if we make material changes to how the User’s personal information is collected, accessed or otherwise used as a result of your use of the Services or if your rights under this Policy are materially impacted by changes to our privacy practices. We recommend that the User check this page from time to time to inform himself of any changes in this Policy.
No Agreement No Use
if the User does not agree or cannot comply with any of the conditions of this Policy, then please do not use the Website.
